Veronica Scharf Garcia grew up in and travelled throughout South America, Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
She has exhibited extensively in South Florida and elsewhere and participated in four residencies as an associate artist at the Atlantic Center for the Arts, New Smyrna, Florida and the Deering Estate in Miami, Florida. She was also selected as member artist at Art Center, Lincoln Road, Miami Beach and Bakehouse, Miami.
For more than 20 years she has served as Curator and Registrar to various South Florida Museums and Private Collectors. For 6 years, Ms. Scharf Garcia
chaired the Art in Public Places Board of Key Biscayne.
A Miami Art Basel committee member for 9 years, she was invited twice to serve on panels for the National Endowment for the Arts in Washington D.C. in 2007 and again in 2011.
Scharf Garcia acts as a collection management advisor to clients while teaching and lecturing She has taught art and lectured at the Museum of Art, Ft. Lauderdale and Miami Dade Community College.
In 2006 she ran for Council Woman of Key Biscayne, Florida. Her most recent project was De Luxe, an Art & Accessory Boutique, Palm Beach, Florida which she ran for 2 years.
